Maker support

Fewer questions. More time to make.

Practical answers for organizing materials, planning production, and keeping your small business moving.

Getting started

What is StockSpace?
StockSpace is an app for makers that brings materials, storage spaces, products you make, costs, and production records together. It is designed to replace spreadsheets that become difficult to maintain as your inventory grows.
What materials can I track?
Track any material or supply with a name, quantity, unit, pack details, cost, supplier, SKU, barcode, tags, and notes. That works for wax and wicks, fabric, clay, pigments, packaging, or whatever your studio uses.
How do spaces work?
Spaces represent where you keep something: a shelf, cupboard, studio, or bin. Assign materials to a space so you can find them quickly, then filter your inventory by location.

Recipes and production

Can I save recipes or formulas?
Yes. In StockSpace, a Build acts as the recipe for something you make. Add the materials and quantities it consumes; the app calculates how many units you can make from available inventory and shows the material cost.
What happens when I log production?
A production log records what you made, how much, when, and optionally where the finished goods went. When inventory is consumed, StockSpace subtracts the materials used so availability reflects what you actually have.
How do I know what I can make?
Each Build’s availability uses its materials and quantities to show how many units you can produce. If one material limits the batch, you can see that before you start making.

Restocking and purchasing

How do low-stock alerts work?
Set a reorder point for a material. When its level reaches that point, StockSpace marks it low and can include it in your shopping list. Proactive push alerts are a Maker feature; plan limits are shown before you upgrade.
Can I track suppliers and purchase orders?
Yes. Maker includes suppliers, purchase orders, and forecasts. A purchase order can contain material lines, and receiving it adds the quantities received back into inventory.
Can I import or export my inventory?
Yes. Maker supports CSV import and export, so you can start with an existing list or take a copy of your materials with you. Supported fields include name, quantity, unit, space, reorder point, SKU, barcode, cost, supplier, tags, and notes.

Codes and teamwork

Does StockSpace support barcodes and QR codes?
Yes. Use barcodes to identify materials and QR production logging to open the relevant workflow quickly. The app also supports links that open a specific space, item, or Build.
Can I work with other people?
Yes, with Maker. Create an invite link from Profile → Members & Sharing; people you invite can join the shared workspace and view or edit its content.
Does my data sync across devices?
StockSpace keeps your account and workspace content available on your supported devices. Members of a shared workspace see the content shared in that workspace.

Plans and help

How much does StockSpace cost?
Free is $0 and includes one workspace, up to 75 items and 3 Builds, plus low-stock status and cost tracking. Maker adds unlimited workspaces, items, and Builds; sharing; QR production logging; suppliers; purchase orders; forecasts; and CSV. Apple shows the currently available subscription options before you subscribe.
How do I manage or cancel Maker?
Apple manages subscriptions. On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → StockSpace. You can also open Profile → Manage Subscription in the app. Cancelling prevents the next renewal; it does not automatically delete your account.
How do I restore a purchase?
In StockSpace, open Profile → Restore Purchases and make sure you are using the same Apple ID used to subscribe. If Maker still does not appear, email support@stockspace.studio with your device and app version.
Where can I get help?
Email support@stockspace.studio. Include your device, iOS version, StockSpace version, what you were trying to do, and a screenshot if possible. We usually reply within 1–2 business days.
